Things I like to see:
-Usually inexpensive fixes if you do it yourself but costs a good amount at a shop…
-Need to do research to make sure it isn't difficult and that parts are not expensive…
- Check computer for trouble codes
- Head gasket leak
- Needs brakes, calipers, or brake lines
- Bad suspension parts
- Bad exhaust
- Dirty Interior
- Dirty/Faded Paint (NOT peeling or bubbling)
- Oxidized Headlights (NOT damaged)
- Damaged bumper covers and fenders
- Dead fuel pump
- No air conditioning
- Damaged radiator
- No power steering
- Sagging Headliner
-These fixes can get expensive but people don’t discount the price because “it still works”…
-Some of these fixes are not typically DIY
-Can make selling the car difficult if they are not fixed
- Doesn’t Run/Drive/Shift correctly
- Windshield Chips and Cracks
- Damaged Seats
- Worn Tires
- Even wear across the tread?
- 4/32 of tire tread or more (George Washington’s Head on a quarter)
- Sidewall damage
- Bad 12v Battery
- Body damage on doors, quarter panels, roof, etc.
- Rust
